The strictest condition in Holy Cross's 2026-27 guidelines is about subjects rather than grades. Science needs a GPA of 5.00, and on top of that both Higher Mathematics and Biology must have been taken at SSC — a student who dropped either as her fourth subject is ineligible for Science even with a GPA of 5.
For Business Studies and Humanities the college gave a range rather than a single figure: 4.00 to 5.00 in Business Studies and 3.00 to 5.00 in Humanities. The lower end reads naturally as the minimum to apply; the upper end simply signals that applicants with a GPA of 5 compete in these groups too.

The GPA you need to switch group
Holy Cross set separate conditions for applying outside the group you studied at SSC. Moving from Science or Business Studies into Humanities requires a GPA of 4.00 or above, and moving from Science into Business Studies requires 4.25 or above.
Notice that a switcher's bar sits above the bottom of that group's own range — Humanities starts at 3.00 for a Humanities student but at 4.00 for someone switching in.
Before you pay the fee
- The fee is paid through the "Education Fee" option in bKash, not an ordinary send-money transfer.
- An application is not treated as received until the bKash payment has gone through.
- The admit card and application form become downloadable six to ten minutes after payment — print both.
